Mr. Mishal Ahmad Al Jarki, has held the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Thiqa Food Group Company (TFGC) since 2013. He has taken the lead in driving both the Restaurant sector, & FMCG & Manufacturing sector towards substantial gains within the Food & Beverage industry. Since joining, Mr. Al Jarki has successfully tripled the size of the company.

For over 16 years, Mr. Al Jarki has formulated new concepts to strengthen core services to clients, led new foundation initiatives, & provided continuous support that resulted in significant growth within the organizations.

His business approach is drawn from his expertise in strategy, risk & performance management, business development, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, capitalization strategies, structuring, & negotiating skills.

Mr. Al Jarki earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Kuwait University, & has obtained an MBA from Maastricht Business School.

Mr. Al Jarki’s current main focus is dedicated to streamlining TFGC into multifaceted statures.

Mr. Bassam Mohammad Waheedi holds over 16 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Since 2014, Mr. Waheedi has held the position of CEO - FMCG & Manufacturing Sector (AlDanah, AlMessilah and ALTCO). With extensive experience in imported good distribution from international brands, TFGC is currently the largest distribution business in Kuwait, with full distribution facilities in Egypt & Lebanon. Additionally to Al Danah and Al Messilah, Altco is also under TFGC’s division & Mr. Waheedi’s supervision. Altco is a leading name in the Kuwait wholesale & retail market. Serving a number of brands such as Quaker, Santiveri, Dreem, Freaking Healthy, Taanayel Les Fermes & San Carlo through our online site.

Throughout his career at TFGC, Mr. Waheedi has accomplished numerous achievements, such as establishing the company within the industry, establishing new factories, introducing new products & transforming them into pioneering items in the local market, increased production with better quality, reduced manufacturing costs, trained factory workers, & obtained the ISO & the HACCP for the company’s factories.

Attaining his degree in Statistics from Kuwait University has provided Mr. Waheedi with the essential foundations required to administer the fast-paced FMCG industry. Combining that with his 10 years’ experience in Agility as Director of Land Commercial Cargo Management, project management, & transportation management, Mr. Waheedi is currently effectively administrating 500 cargo trucks & more than 600 employees. 

Mr. Waheedi plans to expand the FMCG industry through introducing International brands suitable for targeted markets within the region. Through doing this, Mr. Waheedi hopes to reach the peak of success within the FMCG industry & distribution in Kuwait & the MENA region.

With over 30 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, Mr. Khaled Naga rose through the ranks by delivering significant services which have led to his current position as CEO - Restaurants Sector.

Mr. Naga holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cairo University, Egypt & an MBA from Windham University, USA. Mr. Naga’s educational background & extensive experience within the Food & Beverage industry, alongside his customer-focused approach have allowed him to develop a deep understanding of business & people management.

Mr. Naga aims to expand the Restaurant sector locally & regionally throughout the MENA region. From creating & developing home-grown brands to franchising major food groups, Mr. Naga’s vision & approach is to provide customers with the upmost quality of restaurants. 

Mr. Abdul Kareem Subhi currently serves as the Deputy CEO in Al Thiqa Food Group Company’s FMCG & Manufacturing sector, which holds both our fisheries and import product distribution. With over 35 years of experience in the FMCG & Manufacturing industry, Mr. Subhi rose through the ranks by having substantial expertise and knowledge within the Kuwaiti market, bringing AlDanah as the main seafood provider, and the number one choice of every Kuwaiti and Non-Kuwaiti household. The FMCG & Manufacturing sector also manages one of the top brands in the world, Quaker in addition to over 20 other wide range brands through our import distribution.

 

With Mr. Subhi’s expertise in marketing, cost management, strategic planning, and capital raising, he takes the lead in co-managing the FMCG & Manufacturing sector along with the CEO. Additionally, Mr. Subhi’s competencies such as; team management, coaching skills, decision making, production efficiency, and performance target will certainly help the brands to boost the product reputation, and market share.

With over 30 years of experience in Finance, Mr. Raghunathan has been the Chief Financial Officer at Al Thiqa Food Group Company (TFGC) since 2016. Mr. Raghunathan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Madras University in India. As CFO, Mr. Raghunathan has headed the finance function of leading investments with a capital of about $50 million USD.

With 15+ years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, Mr. Raghunathan’s role in the management of mergers & acquisitions, business valuations, budgeting, securing bank facilities, treasury management, cost control & cost reduction, inventory, warehousing, KPI reporting, KSE reporting, retail distribution & various other tasks have helped TFGC in attaining the current level of expansion & maintenance of secure finances. 

Mrs. Aseel Al-Turkait is the Chief Support Services Officer at Al Thiqa Food Group Company (TFGC). In her role, she leads the Support Services Division and directly oversees six departments, while also working to improve inter-departmental communication within each sector and throughout the group. She is assisting various sectors and departments in implementing a new ERP system, policies, and procedures to ensure proper communication between management, departments, and affiliates, as well as enhancing staff engagement across the group. Mrs. Al-Turkait has initiated a performance management process that includes developing job descriptions, core competencies, career paths, strategic planning, objectives, and KPIs for all departments within the affiliates.

 

Mrs. Al-Turkait heads the Human Resources, Admin, Learning & Development, Quality Control, Corporate Projects, and Corporate Communications departments. With over 20 years of experience, 14 of which are in the Food & Beverage sector, she has also worked in education, investment, telecom, and notably, the oil & gas sector. Her expertise spans business process management, knowledge management, strategic planning, advertising, and public relations. She quickly rose through the ranks to become a Public Relations & Marketing Manager at the age of 24. Mrs. Al-Turkait earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from Drake University in 2001 and is a Certified Marketing Manager.

Mr. Khalid Radwan is currently the Group Senior Legal Manager of the Legal Department at Al Thiqa Group Food Company (TFGC). His strong administration & legal experience made him the go-to person for Al Thiqa Food Group.

Mr. Radwan has showcased his flexibility in providing support to all teams, especially in maintaining current projects & acquiring new business opportunities.

Mr. Ali Abdallah is a driven human capital management professional holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics and is currently pursuing his MBA Global Degree at Manchester University Business School in the UK.

Mr. Abdallah denotes an extra level of enthusiasm understanding and assistance to the team. Prior to working in Al Thiqa Food Group Company (TFGC) as the Group HR and Administration Manager, his entire career journey has been in diverse fields, delivering a cultivating optimistic company culture, aiming to leave a legendary legacy in the organization.
